We had a very nice lunch at the salty. It’s a very unique place. Glad we got to go before they closed down for the holidays. my open face roast beef sandwich was very good and so was my wife’s fish sandwich.

Chowder bread bowl was very tasty as was the soup of the day. Wanted to ask if they made their bread there or brought it in but didn’t see the server till she dropped the check in a hurry. Never asked if we wanted a second beverage and soda was never refilled before our check was left at the table. Could have had a higher total, and therefore a bigger tip. Waitstaff should also be taught not to ask if change is needed. Just take the dang book and make change, and if customers don’t need their change- they will leave it. One of my biggest pet peeves.

The staff were incredibly pleasant and hospitable. I went there with my three kids and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They turned the TV to cartoons, made custom Mickey Pancakes (not on the menu) with chocolate chips for them when my 9yr accidentally tried to order a bloody mary they politely and happily declined

Great location by the water!!! Absolutely recommended! Calamari is top notch, tender meat, fresh and full of flavor. We enjoyed the seafood basket served with fries, tartar sauce, coleslaw, garlic bread and cocktail sauce. Chowder is a little bit on a thicker side but overall, we had a pleasant dining experience. The dining table is so cool with nice art project with starfish and glitters. The views are beautiful, there’s also free parking within the small marina. Service was prompt and our Server showed us a little tour around as we’re on our Oregon Coast road trip.

There’s plenty of reviews already. But I have to point out that this is a really family funky cool place. They have a tree/fern. That’s 12 feet tall in the dining area that started out as a sapling. The tables are from some long ago art project with starfish and glitter encapsulated in thick epoxy! I had the fish and chips, and they were as good as any. The parking may be restricted because of the nature of the small marina so you might have to park around the corner. It’s right across from the boat launch. The pictures are close-ups of the table end of the tree inside the dining area. There’s also a nice bar and hopefully someday I’ll get to check it out.

A char broiled ribeye steak for lunch was perfectly cooked. Ordering off the dinner menu for lunch was great. Spouse had a cheeseburger that was also very good. Our new favorite place to eat.

The food here is awesome! Typical bar food, but really well done. We had the panko breaded fish and chips, the fish was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. The clam chowder was also very good with lots of goodies and big chunks of clam. We sat at the bar and watched the kitchen, everything that went out while we were there looked amazing. The Ruben looked delicious but we weren't at all hungry after our fish and chowder. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

Had a late lunch with a friend on July 23rd, 2024. They weren't very busy. Yet service was slow. Both my Hamburger (I asked for rare) and onion rings (a $2 upgrade) were over cooked. The $9 margarita was good. My friend really didn't care for the thin french fries. But, enjoyed the Reuben sandwich with a local cider.
